Spanish Probate Solicitors will prepare a draft Will, in English and Spanish, in accordance with your instructions and carry out the necessary formalities to ensure that the Will is correctly legalised and registered with the Spanish Wills Registry. Please note that in Spain there are no joint Wills and it will be necessary to produce one per person. Our service includes:
Drafting of your Will in Spanish and English and providing you with the draft for approval.
Assistance with finding a suitable Notary Public local to you to execute the Will in front of two witnesses (one of which can be the Notary Public). A fee will be payable to the Notary Public directly and should be paid to them at the time of the appointment*. We will confirm the fee to you when making the appointment.
We will arrange for the executed Will to be sent to our London office where we will attend to legalisation at the Foreign Office (apostille)*. The Will is then sent to Spain to be registered at the Spanish Wills Registry.
Once all the formalities are complete, Spanish Probate Solicitors will provide you with the original document.
We provide expert advice on all aspects of Spanish Probate.
